Imagine catching a golden autumn sunset, cocooned in blankets, with the sky framed by the doorway of a honeycomb-thermal-lined bell tent. Made EVEN MORE MAGICAL if you can sit outside, wrapped up warm, watching fireworks shimmer on the horizon.
From Hill Farm you watch the skies light up with fireworks across the horizon - it’s stunning ⛺️✨.
Personally, I think it’s one of the best times of year to stay. The campsite has that lovely autumnal hush over it. You wake up to crunchy leaves, gaze at golden skies (sunset season) and feel the fresh chill in the air - this all makes you feel more alive.
(I do realise I say lots of dates throughout the year are my favourites. Honestly, I’m just smitten with our campsite and living out the seasons here. There isn’t a month that goes by where I’m not grateful to experience it everyday.)

Tara’s footnotes:
In my humble opinion, there isn’t a much better way to welcome Christmas than glamping at Hill Farm and doing something festive that marks the season. Where would I catch you? Apple picking at Elvaston Hall or finding some Christmas sparkle at Swarkstone Nurseries?
