Ollie is a stickler for quality. He often says, “I’m not going to run a campsite where I wouldn't be happy to stay myself” - and it shows!
There’s never a broken item to be found, as soon as something breaks, it’s replaced, as soon as we can arrange it or pop to town to buy a replacement.
Hill Farm is home from home, where you always have warm showers, wide open space for kids to play and THIS year we have a food truck, so you’ll get a morning cuppa in bed! We get feedback like, “lovely, clean facilities and friendly staff” two things we are SO proud of and the best part is you can enjoy everything, no-matter your preferred level of camping comforts…
You can book hard standing and bring your caravan, enjoy classic back-to-basics camping, or go glamping, book a bell tent or a pod!
All our Pods come with hot tubs
Our Plus, Deluxe and Deluxe Plus Bell Tents have their own hot tubs.
AND to make Hill Farm EVEN MORE incredible than it already is, we provide wood for the hot tubs - amazing, right?

The Essentials at Hill Farm Glamping, Caravan and Campsite…
Hill Farm is gorgeous, it feels like you are in the middle of nowhere, but the reality is… ASDA is a 4 minute drive away!
We love our location, down beautiful countryside lanes and a stones throw from incredible history like Swalkstone Bridge and great pub walks!
As you approach Hill Farm, you’ll see the campsite is a wide open space. All our pitches are around the perimeter, leaving plenty of grass for mad games of stuck-in-the-mud, tag and general lazing in the sunshine making daisy chains.
Families are obviously welcome!
We have a main building, where you’ll find a washing up station, toilets and showers. If you walk around the back of the building, there are individual toilets and showers, or as we fondly call them, “shower shacks”! Many campers prefer them, as you have a unit completely to yourself.

What you’ll find onsite at Hill Farm Glamping, Caravan and Campsite
12 Bell Tents:
6 standard bell tents - these are nestled in Pond Field, slightly separate to the main camping field, but direct access to our facilities - making it the perfect location for a group get-together!
We also boast two Plus Bell tents. With an outdoor canopy that covers the decking area and makes for a magical stay under canvas. Plus Bell tents sleep 6 people, 1 double bed and 4 singles and come with a gorgeous wood-fired hot tub under a gazebo.
We have two Deluxe Bell tents, each thermal lined in a honeycomb-patterned wrap for the winter months. The Deluxe Bell tents sleep 4 and come with a five-person wood-fired family hot tub under a gazebo.
Finally two Deluxe Plus Bell tents. With a sweeping outdoor canopy that completely covers the decking area, perfect for late night star gazing. The Deluxe Plus Bell tents sleep 6 and come with family-sized hot tubs.

6 Cosy Pods:
We have 3 standard pods and 3 Plus Pods. They are identical and, YES, all have hot tubs under gazebos. Plus pods have a larger decking and outdoor covered space. We’d recommend them for families with little wild adventurers, who might need more space on a rainy day… or those that come with a lot of kit!
Hardstanding & Grass pitches
Family friendly, hook-up available and BBQ’s on bricks - we really want you to have the full camping experience here. More details about camping this way 👉

Facilities
We have showers, toilets both inside and outside, have a look at our walk through video for specifics here.
Washing up facilities are also available outside the toilet and shower block.
Everything is cleaned regularly, and any concerns or complaints - just give us a call and we can sort it out ASAP. We are here to make sure your stay is brilliant, and we mean it!
The Grounds
Hill Farm Campsite is set over two areas, the first is a large camping field with pitches around the perimeter, and glamping spots around the site.
Then there is a second area, where you’ll find the cluster of standard bell tents (perfect for groups), a pond, which is fenced and a wilded area full of flowers and grasses, usually this is as full of kids as it is full of butterflies in the summer!
Sam’s Food Truck & Ice Cream
We are SO spoiled this year, Sam cooks mouthwatering food and we are so LUCKY to have her onsite making our stomachs rumble as the waft of pulled pork and spicy kebabs floats across the campsite.

Here’s what you’ve been crying out for- NEW changes for 2025 💫
👌 All our lights around the pods and gazebos are currently solar and don’t work 24/7 in winter. We know this has been a let-down for some guests. SO we are going electric with lights — everything will be lit up all the time in the winter.
😆 All pods have mains electric (not solar), we have 4 bell tents left to do.
