If we are honest, we could never have predicted the creativity we have seen on show in our glamping tents and pods in the last four years. Your gadgets, decor skills and down-right mad ideas have made us laugh, stop, stare and simply marvel! 🤩
In this blog post, we are not holding back. We will spill all the juicy not-so-secret secrets to take your glamping experience from mediocre to magical in a few easy-to-do steps (that we’ve seen executed to perfection here at Hill Farm).
And to add the cherry on top of your glamping getaway, new for this year, we have added two more hot tubs to our family of belle tents!
Now, all of our Plus Belles and our Deluxe Belles have wood-fired hot tubs bubbling away outside, waiting for you to hop into and enjoy.

Our favourite “glamp-ups” always have a theme, from pretty pink with a touch of boho girls’ weekend to mini film festivals and a foodie meat feast with all the trimmings.
Pick a theme for your weekend, whether relaxing with a high tea, creating a games marathon or BBQing your heart out with festoons, portable smokers, and fire pits - we’ve seen it happen - a little bit of focus brings a lot of fun!
Create a Warm Cosy Space with Lighting
There are so many exciting ways to light up your tent, from bug-busting lanterns to never-ending strings of solar fairy lights.
In our Lotus Belle Tents, you have the luxury of electricity, so your options are endless, save a little on the budget and bring a string from home.
We recommend outdoor solar fairy lights if you wish to string them out to the tub. Our favourites are LED festoons.
Bedding, Bags and Storage - Practical can still WOW
If you really want to go the extra mile with your stay, then themed or matching bedding elevates the Belles to something Instagram-worthy.
Throws and blankets, a rug or bean bag add an extra touch to your decor and give you more seating options inside the Belle, perfect if the weather doesn’t quite hold out for the entirety of your stay.

Floor cushions, plush rugs, outdoor blankets and throws for your camping chairs.
Don’t forget a picnic mat or outdoor rug to set off your new bohemian, alfresco dining lifestyle.
Or fold out tables ready for a games marathon with an edge. We’ve seen hammocks, faux sheep skins, personalised cushions, plants in baskets and more!
On a more practical note, keeping your space clean makes your weekend more enjoyable, so why not bring a folding shoe rack or classic IKEA hanging storage to help keep things clean and tidy?
Good Food & Don’t Forget Your Drinks
Pop-up kitchen units tuck neatly outside the Belle Tents - they are a camping essential, especially if good food is high on the agenda.
We all love a good BBQ, and the Belle Tents don’t disappoint. You’ll find a picnic bench, parasol and BBQ outside each one. And with the new hot tubs by Plus and Deluxe Belle Tents, you really are in for a fun-filled and food fuelled weekend.
Finally, one of our favourite and often fully booked areas is the pond. We spotted a family of moorhens and their hatchlings last week enjoying the water, it’s a very special corner of the farm.
And with four Standard Belle Tents surrounding the pond, you have a beautiful
private area to kick back and relax, perfect for a group booking with family and friends.
